StatSheet's West Coast Player of the Week for January 30th goes to Noah Hartsock from Brigham Young. Brad Waldow from Saint Mary's has won StatSheet West Coast Freshman of the Week. Hartsock put up a strong showing in rebounding (5 per game), shooting (60%), and scoring (18.5 pts per game). The Brigham Young senior played well for the Cougars in a victory against Virginia Tech and an unfortunate loss to Saint Mary's.

Hartsock topped all scoring for the Cougars with 22 points while also adding 3 blocked shots in a close 70-68 win against Virginia Tech. He followed that up with a team-leading 15 points plus an additional 3 rebounds in an 80-66 loss to Saint Mary's.

This is the second StatSheet West Coast Player of the Week honor for Noah Hartsock. The runner-up this week is Rob Jones, a senior from Saint Mary's. Honorable mention goes to Stephen Holt, a sophomore from Saint Mary's. Drew Viney finished seventh and was the highest ranking player from Loyola Marymount.

StatSheet West Coast Freshman of the Week: Saint Mary's's Brad Waldow

Brad Waldow was on the floor an average of 24 minutes starting both games for Saint Mary's. He was number one among all West Coast freshmen in both rebounding (6.0 per game) and blocked shots (2.0 per game). In a 71-64 win over Loyola Marymount, Waldow rang up 3 blocked shots and 80% shooting. Following that in an 80-66 win over Brigham Young, he led all scoring with a 19 point show on 80% shooting.

Amazingly, Brad Waldow has won the StatSheet West Coast Freshman of the Week 3 times. The runner-up is Matt Carlino from Brigham Young. Gary Bell from Gonzaga takes honorable mention. Loyola Marymount players have been named StatSheet West Coast Player of the Week 2 times this season.
