| Two teams from the West Coast find a home in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are Saint Mary's at #18 and Gonzaga (#24).
Saint Mary's moves up three spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at Loyola Marymount, 71-64. After that came another win at Brigham Young, 80-66.
Gonzaga enters the poll at #24 after a win against Portland, 74-62.
Along with new entry Gonzaga, Vanderbilt breaks into the Top 25 at #25 with a win at home over Tennessee, 65-47 and a win at home over Middle Tennessee State, 84-77. Kansas State falls out of the rankings this week with a win at Texas Tech, 69-47 and an upset loss at home to Oklahoma, 63-60. Connecticut drops out after a loss to Notre Dame, 50-48.
Wisconsin is a big mover this week to #19 after an upset win at home over then-16th ranked Indiana, 57-50. Georgetown tanked five spots to #14 after a loss to Pittsburgh, 72-60. San Diego State slipped 4 spots to #17 after a win against Wyoming, 52-42 and a loss to Colorado State, 77-60.
